In Tanum municipality there are different kinds of housing, there are rental apartments, co-operative apartments and houses. They are owned privately or by the municipal housing company.

The largest property manager of rental apartments is the municipal housing company Tanums Bostäder (TBAB). TBAB owns about 600 rental apartments. Transport

The area of Tanum municipality is large and sometimes you have to travel a bit between different places within the municipality. There are public buses and trains. You will need to know the name of the bus stop where you want to travel from and where you want to go. Prices and ticket information with Västtrafik will be found on the website. You can buy tickets in some of the stores in the municipality; Coop in Fjällbacka, Coop in Grebbestad, Coop in Tanum Shoppingcenter in Tanumshede and at Ica Hedemyrs in Tanumshede.
